LetterHead

Welcome to LetterHead. Founded and built by Satvik Dasariraju and Jack Patel, LetterHead is an organization translating our machine learning and data-driven findings into actionable steps and organizational policy efforts that better address mental health.

The project was started in a dorm at the Lawrenceville School in 2021. Together, Jack and Satvik set out to not only develop machine learning models to analyze mental health datasets and surveys but also to communicate these results, providing tangible solutions for organizations in improving how mental health is viewed and addressed.

Our goal is to develop predictive models that identify the variables associated with mental health disorders and pinpoint the factors deterring individuals from discussing or seeking help for mental health. Stemming from a strong organizational focus on outreach, each project results in a letter—consisting of research, original findings, and actionable steps—addressed personally to the organizations and companies that need them. Our efforts thus far have reached tech companies, while projects seeking to help medical centers, educational institutions, and more are finishing development.
